 downpipe on a R19 RSI 1.8 MPI

my car sound and runs really well apart from a loud noise which seems to be coming from inside the twin downpipe, its not the heat shield iv checked that, i was going to take of the exhaust but how the hell are you meant to get at the 13mm bolt that hold the downpipe to the outlet manifold.

Anyone ever had the same problem Question Question

its a fiddly bugger but you do the passenger side from the engine bay and the drivers side from the drivers wheel arch/underneath.

hhmm il have to give it another go tomorrow any idea on what the noise could be, il be pissed of if i find nothing there.
