well what that says to me is that you have got you DVRflash.exe file in C:\DVRFlash_v2.0\win32\ and not C:\

Im going to go out on a limb here and make a guess, tell me if i am right.

You used Winzip to unzip you DVRflash zip file. In winzip you browsed to C:\ to unzip the files there. You did not however uncheck the 'use folder names' option, which meant that the path \DVRFlash_v2.0\win32\ stored in the zip file was used, resulting in your files going to C:\DVRFlash_v2.0\win32\

am i right? Wink

unzip to C:\ like you did before, but this time in winzip uncheck the little checkbox labelled 'use folder names'

the files in the zip will definately end up in C:\ then

you had it running before didnt you, when the disclaimer and that came up, and you pressed 'y' for yes, its just that it couldnt find the firmware file 'R8100108.118' again, just do what you did before, but make sure that file is there this time.

where is the R8 file meant to be?

I am following the instructions on the other bit, you know changing the drive 'I' to G which is right etc but do I have to type crap in to link it to r8?

no, the R8 file just needs to be in the same directory as the DVRFlash file youre running and it will find it automatically.

this looks like when you had it running it wasnt in C:\

what made you change from C:\ to C:\>DVRFlash_v2.0\win32\ before trying again, a sudden spark of inspiration?
