Can you see the problem? Well one of the problems, the other was that the DVLA had the chassis number down wrong on the V5

it says my 172 was registered on the 31st of dec 2001, when infact i know on the V5 it says day of reg was june 21 2001

Not all the info is correct on the website! Namely date of first registered is always december for some reason Confused

Lol it's not registered properly, and for some reason (maybe this?) my (1.6 16v) tax is £3 more than our Honda Accord (2.0 16v vtec)?

How do i go about registering this thing properly?! It used to be on an irish plate, so needed re registered etc .. now V256 LYS..

When moving a car from GB to NI, it needs exported and then imported. The reverse is the same. Why this needs to happen, I don't know, as the V5 is axactly the same.

Anyway, when this happens all the details get trasferred, except the number of previous keepers. Ah ha! you say, yes indeed.

So, my car which had far too many keepers in GB now says that it has no previous keepers, which means that I owned the car since I was 14!

See if the coppers can work that one out.

Click on 'Vehicle Enquiry' on the left hand side Smile

Tells you about tax due etc but not the 'body style'
