ECU light

the little light on the dash that looks like an oscilloscope display, what does yours do?

on my hatchback, i have never ever seen it light up

on my chamade i never saw it light up until my little adventure this weekend, when it started flashing and not working. With my spare ECU in, the light comes on solid when you turn on the ignition, and goes out once the car is running.

So like i said, what does yours do?

Mine is off permentantly, was in the last 16v too. You got her running with the spare ECU?

Like i said earlier, mine flashes when the imob is on, then goes solid when its off, then out when the engine is running

Hmmm, come to think of it, my hatchback doesnt have the factory immobiliser in it, only the fuel pump key thing in the glovebox.

same for me on both my ph1 and ph2.

turn ignition on and the ECU light flashes for 2 seconds, then it remains steady to say immob is disarmed, when car is started the light goes off.

never ever seen mine light up...not once.

Only 19's that I have seen work is red19rt's and wicked neos in his vid where it comes on at 120.

On the lag and soon and even rustys old clio its on solid until the engine starts like its meant to.
