I recently rebuilt my old F7P engine. it had new bearings, thrust bearings, piston rings, skimmed head, recon valves, brand new tappets from ebay, water pump, new belts etc.. basically the whole works. Fitted it to the car the other day, filled her up with oil... anyway problem is, the engine sounds very tappety. Is that normal? Sounds worse than the old ones. Whats gone wrong?

cheers
