need help the problem is i'm getting alot of smoke from the car when i start it and it's coming out of the rocker cover breather pipe or the oil cap when i take it off so i thought it was the headgasket had gone cause the coolant changed colour as well so i got a headgasket kit and changed it all and when i started it agian it was still smoking really badly what can cause this ?
it was running fine on my way home then it felt like it was runnign on 3 cylinders but it went away then came back so i got home and parked up and the car started smoking from the bonnet so i pop the bonnet open and the smoke was coming from the breather pipe.
please help need to get car fixed before it starts to snow or gets to cold to anything.  |

did you check the head for cracks?
You done a compresion test?
Did you waggle the pistons when the head was off? |

cleaned the head could'nt or did'nt see any cracks

got a compresion tester but never used it it was to smokey

no just cleaned some of the carbon off them  |

i've got a spare head from infinicars a while back which i was going to get it gas flowed and ported so i'll fit that on and see if it still does the same thing |
