well yesterday I stripped a lot of the exec out.

rear seat belts and stuff before they were stuck into the red hatch

the seat belt pre tensioner computer thingy, anyone want it or need it?

Now this car has the renault fitted cat 2 immob setup, it has the black plastic dongle on the keyring which allows it to start. This is where they are always wired in, also very easy to remove, I could have your car off and away in a few minutes if I wanted to. This is how they are all installed and same for after market stuff like cliffords etc.

The wire loop bypassing the brown plug is the fuel pump feed wire.

the wires on immobilsers are all black so theives have a harder time, when new they come with labels which are meant to be removed, well done renault, well done.

Whilst poking around I spied another immob control box and horn under the wheel, obviously someone though the renault one was better or somehting

that was all the pics I took cos I was busy.

What other things did I note between the ph2 and the superior ph1? Well at the b pillars the ph1's are all spot welded and also have small stitch welds, the ph2 is only spotwelded.

The ph1 metal is a lot thinner but a damn sight better at resisting corrosion.

The ph2 has a load of sound deadening pads all over it despite it not actually reducing the noise.

Ph1 wiring is in a lot of cases twice as thick as the ph2 wiring.

and blah blah
