Yeah, tiz my car though. And was proving it could be cleaned! I ain't going to clean it now and taking another pic, it's pissing it down with rain lol

its all sleeved so it can be made to fit. they shouldn't need it as it should mate up perfectly like the standard zorst, but that takes effort on the manufacturers side!

that 4 part exhaust looks exhaust looks exactly like the scorpion one i had apart from the tailpipe. Absolute piece of shit.

Update: I've finally sorted the damn thing out. Won't try and explain how I did it cuz it's pointless and none of you care lol, but yeah.....bit of twisting of joins, moving things etc and now it doesn't knock anywhere on the car. Tailpipe does stick out a tiny bit more again now, but it doesn't look stupid. It stuck out just over 3.5 inches when I got it back from the garage, then it only stuck out 1 inch when me & a mate moved it back in as much as we could (but it was then knocking), and now it sticks out 1.5 inches and doesn't knock anywhere. Thank the frikkin lord for that.

So basically I've been driving a car with an exhaust that rattles or knocks in one way or another for the past 2 months or so since I first fitted the mongoose...........and now it doesn't do it at all. Had actually got used to it rattling at certain revs etc, so it's quite weird now that it doesn't! But yeah, no rattles.........is like driving a big sheet of silk Laughing

If you need something done on your car, do it yourself - a garage will just fuck it up in one way or another, and charge you for the privilege.

Just incase anyone's interested (nope!) lol, this is how the exhaust looks now it's all in the right position. Like I said before, I had to move it back a bit (so it now sticks out more) to stop it knocking. I think I can live with it now to be honest. I'm getting more used to it everytime I look at it.

All I need to do now is cut the bumper a bit. Anyone got any top tips on bumper cutting? Use a hack-saw blade I take it?

leave the bumper as is and rag it, it will eventually melt to the perfect shampe, much better than a crap hacksaw job.

no, once its hot it will start melting...just go for a nice long blast, obviousy cut te bumper enough so it is roughly the right shape leaving just a bit to be melted into perfect shape...not letting the whole fuckin bumper melt from untouched to finish....like i suspect you were imagining?

dunno...some seem to go awful high, like half the dia. of the zorst...depends how hes mounted it.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's not that much higher, it just knocks against the bumper on pull away, that's the only reason I wanna do something about it. Looks just fine like. Mind you....the car is so juddery on pull away (causing engine & exhaust etc to 'judder' about a lot), that I reckon if I got a new clutch, it stop the exhaust knocking Laughing

lol yeah if it is juddering sort it out...wont get better...i had one tat juddered fr ages...must have got oil on it, but i used to really slip it to avoid the juddering until it just let go one day and that was the end of it.
