Right, Call me dumb. Just noticed that one of the rubbers has split and isnt holding a great deal up. Now i know this may sounds completely blonde but ive never seen a rubber mount that doesn't "hook" onto the car. The rubber itself is pressed through a hole on the underneath of the car. Now will most places stock these I.E Kwick fit etc and how much of a pain in the arse are they to fit. Oh yeah its a 97 Phase 1 Megane |

the hole the rubber goes through is elongated. You push the rubber in and turn it 90 degrees to 'lock' it in place. Not difficult.
You can get them from kwik fit, yeah. If you're polite they might even just give you a few free, they did for me. |

i had the same prob tryin to find the mounts ano halfords at cortonwood dont have any and moter world is a waste of space.
i got mine from gt in thunnscure (sp) i think they was a tenner ea
they was a pain in the arse to fit i used some wd 40 and a screwdriver |

2 quid each for the 19 mounts, the megane mounts are the same but have a plastic insert and 6 quid odd each!
use the 19 mounts. |
