My sisters is the 2 litre 8v and its rather nice. Only 120bhp though. Feels really good on the motorway.

The tracks quite wide, nice amoutn of rubber in the suspension, gives a nice ride.

oh yes my friend had a silver p reg laguna 2.0 8v ,they are quite nippy for a car of that weight. i love that console between the passenger and drivers seats on those cars .

so chris my good man , can you name me the possible donor cars for the manifold ,wiring loom and the ECU i am looking for and please confirm all i need is that 3 bits for this job please .
will just take my time and find them as cheap as possible no rush.

clio RSI, Megane coupe 2l 8V, 19 RSI, laguna 1.8/2 8V.

You need the manifold, loom, ECU. Easiest way is to find a 19.

You need the coolant hoses which are 19 specific. the others won't go.

i can probably buy the coolant hoses from renault if i am stuck with them in the end .

i shall bug you about the job in the nearest future after i collect these 3 precious elements sir

Might as well buy a new car, with their prices

On the subject of lagunas our work pool car is a T reg Laguna 1.6 16v, really horrible engine, makes my SPI seem quick - will struggle to pull from under 2k rpm and sounds like a diesel, a nasty, nasty engine!
Comfortable car though and great brakes.

i know what u mean but as i said ,renault will be the last choice and only for the pipes as they need to specificly be r19rsi ones .
i have time and patience my friend and shall succeed in the end.

estates are normally the best for aerodynamics as standard, a pointless fact but nonetheless intresting.

That's why Volvo always used estates in the BTCC,

Someone told me that, innit.

well they only used the 850 estate for 1 year and as with all these things it was probably marketing related.

did the laguna 1.8 come in single point inj at all .

i just found a laguna 1.8 inlet manifold on a car in a scrappy but the fella on the phone does not know if its a SPI or MPI .
knowing they only came in MPI form would help a lot

Chris will correct me but I think the RT was MPI - lesser models (i.e. the RN) was SPI

But I may be completley wrong Smile

What George means is "Schakal mate, just undo every connector you see and pull the wiring loom out. Hope that helps"
