Right after being punted pillar to post due to 2 peeps on here wanting it and then having to pull out due to personal issues its up for sale.
Theres a few people that have driven this engine and can tesitfy how good it is. Doc, Tranton, A14LNC and Roddy21T are the most common forum users to have done so.
103k miles. New cambelt, new oil filter, fully flushed coolant jacket, new camshaft seals, new crankshaft seal and so on.
Gearbox doesn't rattle like most do.
Engine runs smoothly and pulls cleanly round to the limiter. Engine cranks perfectly. Idle rock solid. Smooth pull throughout throttle range and rev range. Tappets silent.
Gearbox selects gears with precision, easy changes as it should be.
Ph2 engine with later stat housing. This will go in a ph1 with no problem and gets rid of the pressed in steel coolant pipes that are notoriously good at rotting.

Included, loom, starter, power steering pump, alternator, downpipe, coolant pips on engine and ECU, will include fuel lines from the rail to the plastic pipes at the bulkhead for an exrat £25 quid (£90 from ren btw)
Price £175, thats a bargain for a ready to drop in and get rolling set up. Some may think thats expensive its not for what you get and you will not find another for the same money thats had the stuff done to it.
I can fit this engine providing the car is delivered to me for £300, thats a drive in drive out job.
I can also convert any ph2 petrol car to 16V power for £375, crazy bargain since that includes a radiator, rad hoses and exhaust system.
Ph1 1.4's etc conversion can be done but entails more work, if theres genuine interest pm me.
