Hello peeps i need some advice, i have a kind of knocking coming from my engine, it sounds like big end but also i was thinking maybe headgasket has blown between two cylinders, when you rev it when it's stood still you cant hear the knocking, only when you drive it, it doesnt do it in the mornings and doesnt do it when warmed up it's only when driving under load, oil pressure seems to be fine. it also has lost all power
did a compression test earlier and it struggled i got from the crank end to the cam end: 150, 150, 100, 87 psi.. :S going to pull the head off tommorow after work

somethings iffty anyway, most likely the gasket.

If the piston tops have shiny bands that match up with the squish areas on the head chances are bth ebig ends have gone (the piston hits the head).

If you turn the engine over so the suspect cylinder is at BTDC push the piston down, there should be no movement, if it moves 3mm or something the big end has gone.
