What is the correct way to go about removing the old wheel and its corresponding airbag then refitting with a new one?

Does the battery have to be disconnected? What danger is there of the canister going off while i am working on it?

Any advice appriciated.

That "Canister" as you call it on ph1/2 19 and Clio's is in fact the power source and the SRS system in the steering wheel is self powered so disconnecting the battery will do bugger all! Or click http://www.renaultsportsclub.com/index.php?ind=downloads&op=entry_view&iden=9

If you're feeling brave/stupid why not reattach the bag to your steering wheel with the Torx bits and then fuck it in the air as hard as you can and then run.... Run like Forrest Gump before it lands and see what happens Wink
