front legs

breaking the 1.8 rt in its molecules for the last couple days and i managed to get the fron legs out in the end ,they look in perfect nick to me and i want to put them to the chamade to make a matching pair as i still suspect my shakey steering might be caused by the different front legs .
now before fiting them ,is there anything i can do to give them a clean/service ???? i was thinking of covering the top mounts with hammerite for a start .

right what are you calling legs? the struts or the wishbones? struts yes but the non 16v ones are shite. wishbones are shorter and will smash the box casing after a few potholes.

i was on about the front struts and springs chris, i know they are shite but at least thats a matching set.
the ones on the car now are well dodgy

sell them and with the money buy another 16v strut. whats the point in having a valver if you are gunna run it without its proper running gear
