hi guys, clio broke down last night, just out of the blue cut out and wouldn't re-start, after a think i couldn't hear the fuel pump priming when the ignition was on and a few relays started clicking in the fuse box under the bonnet.after a few trys the pump started working again but sounded very strained and tired, checked continuety and feed to the pump today and there good, is there a special tool i need to get into the top of the tank, also are they pretty straight forward to do? cheers

the reason it works again is the pumps stopped where the commutator has worn through, the banging moves is and it should start working again.
