 fuel pump

can i use a fuel pump from a r19 1.4 for a 1.8 rsi, mine sounds really noisy its wining away like mad, if i cant use one from a 1.4 which one would fit Question

it will fit but its the wrong pump

my 1.8 SPI did the same whining for a week or so and never done it after . not sure if using the redex stuff helped a bit or not.

well the engine bay is not much to look at but i was thingking of cleaning it up and painting it, but its a bit hard as theres not much room with the lump still in the bay, id like to get hold of a replacment engine so i can rebiuld it.
