whilst cleanin my car i noticed one of the wheels was particularly mucky on the inside...was geasy as fick...realised the gaiter to the driveshaft has gone and all the grease inside as spread itself like butter on bread all over the inside of my alloy ...nice! surprised it didnt go all over the disk and cause my brakes to fail!
anyway...dont know how long the gaiter been gone for, quite a while i think, so is it best i just change the whole shaft? if so ill just do them both.

well you can get a gaiter, only prob is you need to remove the inner joint unless you have the stretch tool to stretch the gaiter over th eouter joint, an yway removing the inner joint can be a hassle.
New shaft is easiest, but if the joints ok and I woudl go for the gaiter. |

its crap....clean the car...go for a spin and theres grease spattering on the alloys...grr. |

well it will have to wait til i can get a new driveshaft...may as well stick a new one on...2 preferably. |
