The new clutch is sitting in the boot! Yep,i know it should be between engine and g/box, with a bit of luck, it soon will be!!
This Sat. it will all be happening, Anadin for the hang over, plasters for the cuts and beer for when it goes!
Bright and early, drag son out of pit. Wrong. Not so early, son slams fist in my side,"get up you lazy git, we're fixin the motor..."Drinking strong coffee son hase made (cold) I get myself together and were off to the garage.
Watch this space for the outcome of Saterday!

Yes, Sachs clutch going in tomorow, i hope! Cost about 50 quid for the kit from renault.
If i get time i might fix the ratteling exhaust, it's driving me nuts.
Also, will let you know how it went, the clutch that is, depends on how much damage i've done to my fingers, typing is hard with one finger....

Yep, I'm an inventor! must be at least a hundred new words..... words used whilst doing a clutch on a "Sh*tinmade".. Why the f*ck did God create rust? what f*cking purpose does it serve?.... It causes large amounts of blood loss, various amounts of skin graft and untold damage to knuckles!
The prolog: It came to pass at 8:00 Son arrived with coffee(hot). I was awake, and waiting punch in ribs. Dodged punch, drank coffee.
Blah Blah Blah.. Got to garage, mate who is helping is just leaving "sorry got to pick kids up! Byeeeeee".
(first new word):- Renollocks! Car is up and bolts are "fuckreeking" with rust, (another new word) Twelve cans of WD-40 later, donation of blood and skin from right index finger, we try some more bolts...Snafuckingnap..
(yep, new word)..Bolts and bits, blod and skin, Calm down Dad... Words of wisdomfrom my son...
After a few hours the box....WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL ME THE BOX HOLDS 5,000 GALLONS OF OIL!! Is drained on the floor and whilst skating it is moved, pushed, levered, hammered (fingers also) and I can at last remove the old sh*tinollocks clutch.
Another couple of mates turn up, one is duely sent to renault for a new left hand box mounting (32 quid)!! Whilst my good friend Joel gets his overalls on.
Hammering, bashing, swearing,(can't repeat) at last its back,
Joel works on agricult....agroc.... Farm stuff! And tells me lots of grusome
tails of farm work making me feel sick and weak at the knees. But he's a great guy and without he's help i wouldn't be sitting here with a pint of rum and coke!
(if you want some storys let me know).
At long last its back apart from the mounting, a short break is taken to repair fingers and hands and apply plasters to stem the flow of blood.
BillyBoy turns up with the mounting (he's traveled round the world for this)
Good man..... The rest of the job goes well, Billy Boy is concerned about the amount of spare nuts/bolts left over, Don't worry, Joel's test driver.
At long last, Joel returns from a test drive and we all agree that there must have been too many nuts and bolts in the first place as the car goes like the powers of piss, and we all know , when you need a piss by god it's a power!
Am nearly p*ssed myself, on second pint of...............
Cheers!

did you not post this up the other day or am I having serious deja vois?

Anyway if you wanted to know how to do it you could have asked me, I have done it a million times and know all the bolt sizes etc.

Mount would have been half that from a factors btw.

I am just winding you up now aren't I? lol

Just for Soneji,
Not being too keen on blood and guts, (Silly me, i let Billy Boy & Joel know) They gave me a blow by chop description of the knives on the front of a combineharvester, Think thats how you spell it, and,how quick they take the ears off of rabbits! some times slicing through the top of the head...I'm feeling sick just thinking of Weetabix.
Great delight was taken in telling me, how Joel, had to dispatch a rather large fox with a monky wrench, only after it had all four legs choped off by the combine thingy and it was stumbling around on soggy stumps!! not the kind of thing you want to hear whilst holding a gear box above your head....
Please no more!

Nothing sick about putting a hapless old rabbit infested with mix mitosis out of misery… removing the 0.22 bullet from the skull can be how ever
