one of the final jobs to do for the retest
o/s/r/ handbrake very poor
how would i go about adjusting it bearing in mind all rear disks and pads are relatively new and so is the hanbrake cable the car in question is 93 clio rsi. cheers guys |

I already told you face to face, check the caliper piston moves when the handbrakes pulled. |

just making sure chris so if i get somebody to pull up the handrkake a few times and i will look at the piston on the rear caliper if it doesnt move its siezed. is it possible to free it if that is the case |

no make sure the arm moves, if the piston moves then the sliders may be siezed. If it moves but the piston doesn't the cam in the calipers gubbed new caliper time. |

could just need a clean out behind the rubber boot. Mine didn't move until I cleaned the suprisingly stiff gritty shit out of the boot  |

cleaned out the dust cover full of grit etc but the handbrake operating lever still only moves very slightly but the piston still doesn't move |

replace the other handbrake cable if you only did 1 of them. |
