Right this is starting to piss me off now. It's just becoming a pain in the arse to select 1st and 2nd gears. 1st being the worst!

If i'm coming to a stop and select 1st it seems to slot in. But if i'm already at a stop I have to really wrench it in.

Reverse always crunches, unless I go quite slowly. Even with the engine off it's quite hard to select 1st. It seems to get harder when the engine gets warmer aswell!

3rd, 4th and 5th are fine though... These problems only seemed to start after the new clutch was fitted (full kit) the cable, pedal and everything else is fine as far as i'm aware.

Could it be anything with the linkage adjustment?

thanks.

Chris, the clutch cable is still in it's orignal brackets - right up to the bracket on the gearbox and it was fine before. I have a renault one brand new right here but I don't think it will make a difference.

Was your selector fork bent bbracer?

thanks.
