ok i know better,,, it's blown

got mayo in the water system (but not looseing water)

engine over heating very quickly

(plip key still does not work)

ok info needed what are the torque / angle s for the head bolts

(if angles,, will i need to replace head bolts)

always replace head bolts as they are stretch bolts only for one use not two! Laughing

get ur self a haynes manual of ebay they is well cheap then you will have all the torques and angles you need

is that to go with the
nova, cavi,mini,metro,307,cortina,astra,maestro
haynes manuals
ps always cheaper new at your local shop



just need the head bolt setting and angles
doing the head now!! not got time to get a book

I've used the same headbolts several times.

They dont 'stretch' in the way you are thinking.

i don't mind getting new head bolts,, it's the torques and angles i need .

and another thing !!! there is not a sight of a breach of the head gasket ????can these heads go porus al-a-red top.

plip still does not work (10 months)

they don;t go porous neither do red tops, red tops crack, gary on mig cut one up to show it in all its glorty, the costcast head is about twice as thick in the area they crack.

Thing is onyl way to see is cut it open, when they get sleeved then basically shove a pipe in to cover the crack.
