Im not sure about the stems, but obviously nerw seats are needed, and it takes fecking ages to get the throat out to 35mm btw. Just ask stan!

I'll get the seats, ect. machined at a garage or something, it's not something I'd do myself tbh.

well looking at my report, Mi16 valves from the pug fit no problems.

They can be had new for about a fiver each.

Yes you will need new seats fitting as the ones in there are too small.

And then it will need a lot of porting to make the most of them big valves.

Same stem diameter so it will up to you to judge whether you need new ones based on wear.

It may be better to practise just porting on a std head first or even a scrap one before risking it on a couple of hundred pounds worth of head with new seats etc.

fitting the new seats wil involve a throat cut of the correct diameter, but then after that its a lot of port to blend in....depends which head tho.

it isnt just a case of "fitting larger valves". the original seats need to be removed, new inserts installed, then cut to suit the new head diameter. thats the easy bit. then u need to spend the rest of yor life porting it so the throat is the correct shape.
