while slowly putting the pieces of the chamade together i discovered this

1- one of the pins on the heater control plug is burnt to death at some point ,and the mating pin on the plug coming from the loom .what can be the cause of this ? do the plugs need changing etc ...

loose pins in the plug, I have mentioned this as per usual a million times.

just had this on the heater motor, was working intermittantly, i found that the plg connector wasn't sitting snuggly over the pin, hence lose connection, sparks, and thus burning (in simple terms) i just used a precision screw driver to make the plug connection tighter by closing the gap and hey presto no fires!!

indeed, small screwdriver to scrape any plastic/burnt crap off the terminals close them up problems solved.
