in one sentance...
SPENT TOO MUCH.

and no it aint a chaved up boy racer rust box.

Ive had it since i was 17 and dont wanna get rid of it now, plus i want a new project.

I just helped put a 2.0l 16 into a nova which was fun (though dangerous to drive) and i wanna do similar with my clio.
I'll put my clio of the road and just use my bm over the winter so it gives me plenty of time.

My main concerns are,
the standard immobiliser.. can i disconnect this and get rid of it? its caused me greif in the past and i'm scared to even touch it.

and also wiring loom etc, the vauxhall conversion was easy just fit and plug it in.
is there anything i should know about the clio conversion before i start?

if youre dead set on it, its actually very easy, just a swap over job. But as well as the engine you do also need the exhaust, loom, suspension, brakes etc. etc.

Your best bet would be to buy a smacked clio 16v cheap and swap off the 16v bits you need onto yours.
