just fitted the chromed inlet manifold to my cabby, due to it being a main dealer part which was out of stock i was forced to reuse the old gasket. Anyways all back together, but the car is idling at 2k when cold and dipping down to around 1.2k when its warmed up.

Ideas????

I put that information in as thats the first thing ive thought of, would a leak on the gasket cause the car the idle high? Is there anything else it could be?

Check all vacuum hoses and pipes, make sure you seated the throttle cable properly. Check the throttle body gasket.
Make sure you put the ICV and connecting pipes back properly.

But inlet manifold gasket is the obvious choice.
