yes its cheap but theres no need for them unless your ones are broken.

what did you think it run? Thast the only engine it had.

The spider was let down by, to heavy, not enough power, elise was better all round but the ren was better built.

Well I don't know if they're broke or not to be honest Chris, but the racket they make is close to unbelievable sometimes! Really not sure how the top of my engine hasn't just split open and they've all come flying out, cuz that's what it sounds like is about to happen! Even my parents (who know nothing about cars) make comments such as "si, how's the tractor going?". Doh

Also, they are incredibly noisy (more than usual) after an oil change, and I did an oil change last week so that's why I'm noticing them more now. Cuz the oil is thinner now than it was before cuz there's no crap in it? I have no idea!

try a treatment, I hate these wonder cures but the wynns and a few other types normally do a decent job on silencing the hydraulic lifters.
