Ok people, this morning i decided to get to work on my clutch cable, iv found were its snapped, right on the clutch pedal, my problem i just cant work out how to access the rest of the cable, i cant even find were it joins the gearbox. As you can guess im not the best with cars, thou i certainly dont mind getting my hands dirty!( i did do my starter motor!!)
But il be honest, this cable has got me stumped. I rang a few garages to check on prices, but i thought i would offer you guys the chance to earn a few quid first.
If any of you live near Dartford(or dont mind the trip) and fancy the Job, let me know, or if any of you can tell me were the hell i start with this job let me know.

Cheers
Jim

I have explained it once or twice on here mate, do a search.

you need to get the heatshields off from the back of the engiernon the bulkhead, thats where th ecable dissaopears behind, if you have the stock airbox it also hides the release fork etcv

It is alot easier than it looks, just done it myself and tbh the hardest part is getting it back onto the pedal correctly. Just give youself some time and abit of swearing and you will have no problems.

yea first feel your way round the pedal mate to get the cable off, ditching the old pedal assembly might be a idea too (as you are still gona save alot doing it your self! then bottom heasheild off. OEM airbox out the way if there then you will see where it conected, disconect

then TAPE some string to the pedal end and pull through

then new cable TAPE string to pedal end and it becomes simple from there on mate

Thumbs Up! go on do it!!

Its not that hard, I did mine in france with a few tools, some string, tape and a torch. Hadrest part was trying to explain that I wanted a right hand drive cable to the renault dealer...
