Hi, i have a j reg 92 R19 phase 2 cab, when i bought it the immobiliser did not come with a key, i bought a immobiliser barrel and keys from renault at the lovely cost of £30 and i removed the existing immobiliser when i swapped the wires over the flashing light worked but the car keep starting regardless of what position the kay was in, to make matters worse the brown and blue wire has come away from whatever it was connected to behind the dash and i cant work out where the wires have come from, would the y just be live and neutral so i could feed them through to the battery? and any idea why the car still starts even though the key is in the "on" position?
