should never need replaced just cleaned matey.

Although they can tend to fall apart or get damaged so may need replaced.

hmm.. some manufacturers of kits are very particular with what oil you should use (maybe they're just being anal about it).. for cleaning fluid it's not that important what you use... WD40 is too runny (not really an "oil").. you need somethign thicker, like acid-free general purpose oil you use for your bicycle (heck, even engine oil would prolly work)..

my piperx viper kit came with oil, so i use that.. for cleaning, im just using some k&n stuff that costs next to nothing..

engine oil is used on wet oil filters.

but every k&n oil etc etc has had the same consistancy as wd40

im changing mine back to the standard renault airbox, and going to use the K&N or similar filter in there instead, i think it is guaranteed cold air then

An induction kit triples the amount of air the engine sucks in, and therefore tripples the amount of fuel in the engine too

According to the owner of a kevved up corsa driver in my college class.

Oh and he hopefully wants to land a job at Mclaren after his time at college too Razz

u might be right, chris, i don't know (u usually are).. the piper oil i've got just seems to have a higher viscosity than d40...
