how many splines are meant to be in the CV joint where the little rings go around them?
my engine pulled off one of the little rings and splines went fookin everywhere!!!
i didnt see this until the morning after becuse i got the engine out in the dark!

you mean the needle bearings on the rollers?

look in the megane prog report and highlight the bit in one of the pics and post it back up.

this exactly what mine looks like at the moment! i think ive got most of the splines, i went under my car with a magnet, i think it may have got all of them, i just want to know how many there are.

righty the tripod bit is 60 odd quid, I think thats 2 quid less than the full shaft! lol
