i was thinking today. Is it possible to fit a turbo, maybe off an R5 to an E7J engine? if so how hard would it be and how much work would need to go into it?

yes it is.

What you need, turbo, make a new exhaust manifold, custom downpipe, splice in oil and coolant feeds, programmable ECU, uprated fuel pump, decent rising rate regulator that will adjust for positve pressure, 2 BAR MAP sensor, intercooler and induction pipework.

Someone else to do the work, a grand maybe a few weeks, yourself, well you'll never do it as no one does when they realise what needs to be done.

not as bad as i thought really. would it be worthwhile doing it? i would have thought it would be quite reliable as energy engines are quite strong.
