hmmmmm both mine have brown caps, they had them on when i got the cars, i noticed neals has a blue cap thou . . .

water won't boil but it won't ensure that the water in the head stays under enough pressure to prevent steam pockets.

16V needs the blue one

If the car hasn’t been run to hard for a while, remove the cap and press the middle hole bit against the spring.

The washer inside can dry out making the valve stick so the pressure will go to high.
