Well, we towed it about 5 miles from addie's house, pulled in to a lay by on the A64 and tried to drive it, put the battery was having none of it, tried jumping it, but did nothing except make the jump leads warm. So my m8 phones the AA and askes him if his policy would cover the valver even tho he's not a passenger etc but in convoy, so they agreed and 20-30 mins later they show up with a flatbed truck and off it goes to wales....

You did drive it didn't you, but couldn't get from 3rd to 4th? Doubt the battery would survive two in-gear starts as it had been stood a week - but I did run it 30min or so before you came so you'd have lights for the tow...

I'm surprised the AA agreed - you should have just told them your mate was driving the valver and the TD was yours!

I got some pics & a movie of you pulling away (Handbrake off helps Huw Wink ) I'll upload when I get my PC with USB werkin!

I'm loving my Cordy tho! So much fun to drive!

the volvo 440 clutch is the same as a clio rsi's although the volvo turbo has an uprated cover. fits Rsi don't know about 16v tho. most "uprated fast road" 5 turbo clutches are std 4?? series volvo turbo clutches just a lot more money
