Hi - Im a newbie so go easy!

My Lagune stopped working (just like that) on the motorway on Sat. i thought our of diesel as I was really low on the stuff.

AA filled it up at a garage and still wouldnt start - he thought something must be stopping fuel getting to the engine etc.

left it with Renault and they did 1 hour diagnostic on it - they determined new fuel filter and 4 glow plus as they say they are all away - they say still no gurantee it will start after this.

My query, eventually, is - how long should it take to do this job - ie ascertain that it needs fuel filter and glow plus and then change all of these?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers in hope

fuel filter will be needed as they are rarely changed. The filter also acts as a water trap.

glowplugs however, did it have trouble starting before?

what laguna is it? older ones can take more abuse than the newer ones and they can get silly expensive. DCI's old shapr or the lag 2 fully integrated effort?
