Hi all..

Anyone got any tips on removing a '94 laguna 2.0 8V's starter motor?

It seems to be buried behind everything, can you get it out with just
the air filters off?

Anyone got any pics of what it looks like on an engine out of the car? can't see a thing in there...

air filter housing off makes it much easier.

Then you need to remove the heatshield which depending on your luck has either 2 or 3 10mm bolts.

drop links need doing every year on them tbh.

as for the bracket remove it with the starter, 16mm at the bottom and 2 13mm at the top.

Thanks for that, I'm sure it seemed blindingly obvious..

Starts now anyhow, but I have a sort grindy noise from the back left that goes on and off in time with the wheel moving.. I guess it's either the bearing shagged or more likely the discs rusted up a bit - it's been standing for about 3 weeks now..

For the drop links, do you have to do them both at the same time?

Do they affect the tracking? Does that have to be re-done afterwards?

drop links are just a straight replacembt job, they affect nothign else like tracking etc.

do the broken side. if th eother sides ready to go i.e. bust gaiters etc then replace it.
