well for those that don't know the diesel Audi won.

Good stuff. However its not as clear cut as its all made out. The diesel engine was granted an extra 1.5 litres of capacity, they wanted a diesel to win so they made it so it could!
Also larger restrictors and bigger boost as well on the diesel cars |

thats hardly fair seeing as the diesel would have shit loads of torque. plus it can run for longer cos its more fuel efficient.
does this mean that at next years le mans theres gonna be loads of diesel cars running |

the pugs ghave signed up for diesel.
but the rest are waiting to see if its gonna be a level playign field or biased to diesels! |

lol. its so not gonna be level plying field. its probably gonna be slightly biased to the diesels.
diesel races cars been a long time coming. they even tried it in rallying a few years back not sure weather it still going or not thow |

I think they were using 50/50 bio diesel and normal diesel so radio le man was saying. pug are i think providing pescarolo sport with diesel's next year well french, french engine. that audi was mighty impresive the pescarolo sport cars just couldn't keep up with it on the straights. two years ago somebody had a tourag diesel powered car, ( it was not a factory supplied engine in fact they brought a tourag and took the engine out and put it in the race car) it was so powerfull it kept blowing up gearbox's. rumour has it the team put the engine back in the tourag and sold the car after le man. |
