I might have asked this before I can't remember, but anyway I don't think it's air in the power steering pipe, because I have 'bled' it out and it still does it.

Only ever when you turn the wheel left and at parking speeds. Really loud squeek type noise, which makes everybody look at you and feel like a nob.

Any ideas?

strut top bearings, dry anti squeal bush in the rack blah blah. Where does it come from?

Difficult to pinpoint as it is so loud, but seems like it comes throught the steering column itself.

OK, had another go last night with my Mrs.

Oh and also had another go at the car with her help Wink

The noise appears to be coming from the middle rather than either side, but I noticed that the steering wheel actually vibrates a bit when it happens. You can actually feel whatever it is vibrating and squeeling.

Where's this anti-squeel bush located? Could it be that?

anti sqeal bush is inside the rack, cut the cable tie on the steering rack gaiter, pull it back and slap grease on the pinion, go lock to lock then add more grease.
