It's a spark plug one that I've got. What I was wondering is how you turn the socket, as you need to leave the hole at the top of the socket open for an alan key.

Is it just a case of finding a spanner to fit round the top of the socket as it has a sort of hexagon shaped top?

As above - is it just a case of using a spanner on the socket if you want to use a socket to do this. I'm not too sure on the setup with suspension so was also wondering if it's possible to initially start to loosen the nut with just a breaker back and socket and then use an alan key and spanner?

As I say - i'm not too sure of the wole set up with the nut and the alan key so just have a few questions.

Thanks.

As In the last post. Can you just loosen the nut initially with just a breaker bar and a socket before then taking it off using a socket and alan key.

I don't know how it all works so don't know if turning the nut without holding the alan key would do any damage.

Still can't get the bloody torsion bar cover off - I think I might just have to cut them off and get new ones from renault as they won't budge at all.

I used a impact gun on them whilst changing hubs, mainly because I'm a lazy so & so.

Couldn't see me being able to do it without one.

Takes literally two mins and my ones were well on there, hadn't come off since new (6 years) changing the direction on the gun from clockwise to counter eased them off.
