 MAJOR PROBLEM HELP NEEDED

bearingsd only fail really due to owner neglect but thats another story.

Failed bearings mean a rebuild for the turbo as opposed to a new one, but as your a mechanic I suppose a new turbo is the answer, after all you want the job done asap.

But for the engine to run on the sump oil via the turbo would empty the sump very quickly.

Oil filled intercoolers, I am trying to avoid cleaning Alans out until the weather clears at least.

:p rebuilding the turbo would be a better opption i agree... the only reason we replace turbos is because renault appear to be made of money and would rather us just replace the turbo for warranty instead of rebuild the one thats faulty... with regard to the engine burning the oil...i wouldent know as i have never let an engine run away with itself for long...i always stall them ASAP.
