Hello.
My name is Adam and I’m here to introduce members of this forum to an all new site designed to work in parallel with existing clubs such as this one. The aim of this new site is to bring together people who live in East Sussex with the intention to arrange meets and cruises!
The reason behind this is that national owners clubs and cruise sites tend to have very few events in any one area. Typically you may only get to go to 1 or 2 a year depending on the distance. The hope is this new site will allow people from various different clubs to get to know one another and meet up. It will also allow cross communication about meets and events from one club to another.
My hope is that the site will appeal to just about everyone. Its not just going to be cruising that is on offer. I’m hoping that all kinds of events can be arranged over the next year.
All you have to do is sign up to the forum. It is not a club as such and can run in parallel to proper club websites such as this one. Once a sufficient number of interested parties have joined the forum people can begin to organise events. These could be anything from cruises on Brighton seafront, to the attendance of the Goodwood festival of Speed.
I also need someone to put themselves forward as a representative from this site. That person must live in East Sussex, be willing to come to meets and have been with this club a reasonable time. The volunteer would be required to inform members of any events being run by that club in the East Sussex Area and provide us all with details.

Yeah that is the only problem but then again thats the whole point. If it takes off I will create a few more sites like this but for different counties. Now i've got the template I could probably knock one up in an hour or two. I guess this is the Pilot site in a way. |
