Anyhow's dropped the oil on it today, and put new filter on ( air,oil - for now ). Here how the oil looked when it came out.

running a tad better now. There was mayo in the oil filler cap also. Well i've not been using it much over the past 3 weeks.

^ well flush the old coolant and water out Today. And put in the Above Orange/ Pink when in a very thin layer, coolant in. I will be doing again soon, as I've pull some right crap out the exansion bottle. Still the old coolant good for Staining the Drive.

Renault recomend there "Type-D" Glycol based coolant which is a funky day-glo yellow/green colour for £25 for 5l premixed and you'll need two bottles to fill the cooling system.... OR

... instead of paying out £50 you can just buy yourself a 5l bottle of Glycol based antifreeze for £10 from any autofactors (Comes in bllue, green, orange, pink) then buy yourself an antifreeze tester for a further £8 and make your own "Type-D" coolant as it merely means that it protects down to -23 degrees. Much cheaper and you don't feel half as reluctant to drop the coolant next service!

The only thing to make sure of is that it is a Glycol based antifreeze as anything else will corrode the cylinder head and you don't want that now do ya Wink
