Complete Megane F7R head is surplus to requirements as I do not want to carry out machine work to get Dizzy to work on it in my Valver.

As it is apparently a better head design than the Williams F7R may be good upgrade for anyone with a F7P or F7R engine or good replacement for anyone who has suffered cambelt snap.

Looking for £150 for complete head including cams and valves.

Engine has done 55k and is a F7R 714.

Depends on demand really. Not many places you can just get a head from and if someone needs one I think £150 is reasonable.

Had 3 people who said they would then did not so if they felt that the price was reasonable then who am I to argue.

Like everything there are people who want things for pence and others who pay what things cost.

Don't forget its very close friend, 'supply'. I don't know if you've noticed, but people are whipping the heads off megane engines left right and centre at the moment to replace with a 1.8 head. Which is, I'd wager, what you have infact done to end up with yours for sale.

Like I said, look around.

Maybe they found one cheaper?

Yep, or if you look at it another way, people who know what things are worth, and Clio owners who pay £1300 for a Williams engine. You won't find any of the second group here.

Completely agree Neal...much as i said to him over on WC, it may technically be worth 150quid but theres no real market at that price, especially when you can get a complete engine for similar money.

I appreciate you're wanting good money matty but at the same time you've had sitting since last year for sale and no takers...if it were me i'd be wanting rid...rather let it go for less money than have a lump of useless metal sitting in your house?

Ok, take a look how much the Williams head is going for with 4 bent valves on ebay. Is that a better head?

Not had it for sale too long, posted it before i had it delivered.

Can get rid for silly money now or wait and don't mind waiting.

And most who buy cheap do so to sell on, like £180 Megane engine now being sold at £480 so comments on price are unwarranted if solely by persons who buy cheap to sell at a profit.

Granted if you hunt round breakers yards on a regular basis you will uneath some bargains but some of us don't have time for that.
