Anyone else using one of these chips at the moment?

I have been running one in my clio for quite a few weeks now with no problems.

However, although i notice an improvement in the lower end i feel like i've lost all power from the top.
My car used to have a real surge of power when i hit 3/4000 revs where as now i feel like the car pulls better lower down but as soon as i venture past 4000 the car just lacks any woomph.
Noticed this on a long motorway journey, just seemed to take a lifetime to pick up speed once i got past 60.

Have put the standard chip back in for the moment and i'm going to take it for a spin tonight, see if theres a difference.

I tried one that Wicked Neo sent me, which didn't seem to make a lot of diference to the car at all, and I also noticed that the rev limiter still kicked in at 7,250rpm and it was meant to be increased to 8,000rpm with the chip. So we came to the conclusion that it didn't agree with my ECU for some reason, and he is gonna send me a new version of the chip to try at some point. I'll let ya know how it goes when I try it

I haven't got one of micks I bought one of the cheaper ones off ebay. Seems to do the same job really , bit more power lower down and a higher top end so i would assume that its cos i have the extra torque that you don't feel the "kick" of power as much in the higher revs.

Well, been out for a drive with the standard chip and the problem still persists, lack of power past 3/4000 rpm. Looks like a bit of investigating is needed Confused

Lists of possible problems would be of great help at the moment if anyone has any ideas.

HG is fine (done a pressure check)
Brakes are fine (not binding)

What sensors can affect performance?
Can poor earths make a difference?
Where's the best place to get a new fuel filter?

Cheers!
