also have you tried to turn it over with a spanner/socket on the crank bolt??

Just tried this, i can crank it over by hand yes, so the engine isnt seized. When cranking it over by hand its easier in some parts of the cycle than others i dont know if this is normal?

Well sell it as a whole and you shouldn't make a loss on the £200.

Would much rather see it put back on the road by someone that can afford/wants to do it rather than see it broken.

Take the spark plugs out and it should feel the same through the full 360 degrees of rotation.

Car is being broken (in the process of).

It really isnt in great condition, plenty of corrosion all over the place, it really wasnt worth putting it back on the road.

Whats wrong with the brakes?

If nothing how much for the everything I need too put on my RT, but the pads and discs?

Also, firstly I should say, will they fit on my mk1 1.4 RT?

What gauges are in the centre?

I think they are ok, apart from looking rusty (which doesnt matter according to chris H Very Happy ).

I cant get them off atm, i need to stick the car in the carage its next to so i can jack it up and put it on breeze blocks so i can get wheels and hubs of.

The dials in the middle are oil level, oil temperature and oil pressure gauges.

Nope not anymore.

I bought this car with no intention of fixing it, only of breaking it and making a profit.

There was loads of rust on the inside of the boot, and on closer inspection sills are starting to rust aswell. Plenty of other things rear there head, this car couldnt have been made nice without a large amount of work.

It was an abused clio previously owned by plenty of boy racers.

Have you still got this to break?

If so I might be interested in the Engine, loom, ECU, manifold and downpipe, struts and brakes.

How much for that lot? and where are you based?

Yes all those part are still available.

im based at CB11 4JB.

Ive had a poke around since then, ive dismantled a few parts of the engine but didnt do a very good job.

Starting pulling the loom out aswell, but some of the plug snapped off.

ECU is fine as far as i know, the aluminium box its in is corroded and looks bad, but it hasnt gotten inside as far as i can see, and the connectors are all perfectly fine.

Struts from what i can remember are fine.

Your more than welcome to come and take the lot away (providing you can get it all of the car, i dont have the tools).

Price? well say £125 - £150 for engine, loom, ECU and manifold and downpipe.

Brakes and struts? £50.

Thanks for getting back to me, but if I would have to take everything off myself then I'm not interested as it just wouldn't work out.
