Not a Renault but maybe one of you could help Smile

My dad recently bought an R reg 1.6 8v Astra Estate and he has a problem with the engine mangement light coming on intimitenly but with no obvious reason as to why.

The car was recently serviced inc new oil, plugs and air filter but the problem is still there.

When the light comes on there is no change in peformance; it only comes on when the engine is warm.

Only 'problem' with the car is a leaking exhaust.

Any ideas?

Cheers.
