find it difficult to see how they did that all those years ago and even with todays technology they struggle to get into space, never mind landing and taking off from another planet

exactly, its the photos that get me though!

Also we have fairly decent images from the hubble etc of other planets surfaces, yet theres not a single pic of the american flag on the moon? Hmm

I think they could fake a Hubble picture of a flag on the moon with very little difficulty if that's all people are dubious about

yeah I know, but if you were there playing around with the hubble, after looking at nudist beaches etc you'd have a gander at the moon to see the landing sites, flags etc etc and then release them to prove the issue.

But no.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It wouldn't 'prove the issue' in any way shape or form would it, since the picture could be so easily faked by anyone with a PC and photoshop.

Photos of the moon landing apparently taken at the time haven't proved the issue, so why should a picture of the moon taken from a telescope 36 years later do it?

cos in todays world some new boy would/should have tried to prove they were fake and became mega famous, all quietly so he didn't get offed by the CIA or somehting.

TBH i think the russians would have done it. I reckon the russians would have got something to the moon and landed, wether or not it survived the landing or they got to walk outside is another issue.

I must say I do find the Russians pretty impressive. What they manage to do on a shoestring is amazing.

Their jet fighters, they were always on a par with the US efforts, but looking inside them they have none of the electronic computerised controls and gizmos that the americans rely on, it was all just old fashioned electro-mechanical stuff Shocked

Their flight systems are getting there now though.

Also their jet engines had to run on piss but still kept up with the americans.

aye, all dodgy but effective!

Until something goes wrong.

The cold war if it really got down to it I reckon they would have had the yanks, they would have just nuked them.

i seen some pics of the landing in a magazine once, it pointed out the flag they put there, they also pointed out that the flag was waving around in the wind Shocked what wind Exclamation there was also fact that the shadows were facing the wrong direction. Rolling Eyes

yeah

load of bullshit if you ask me

ever see the program about it?

asking all these questions and all the vice president of nasa or something was saying was

"nope thats a lie"

" i cant explain that"

"it did happen"

"i dont know about that"

"thats also impossible"

load if shit..

the thing that set me off was the film of the landscape in one video
then apparntly 20 miles in a diffrent direction new video but 100% identicle landscape.

and also saterlight pictures were taken over area 51 showing what looked like filming equpitment and things..

then there is the bit about if you speed up the footage of the looner rover it looks like its just driving across sand, slow it down a bit and you get the low grav effect.

i could go on for ages.

but basically

moon landing = bullshit.

ill prolly get assinated now... Confused

Nah....I beleive it was real!

Bollox to the flag theory, no wind is correct but if you shake something on the moon it's going to keep moving due to there being no wind resistance to stop it!

Shadows were also covered in that program about the "hoax" on Channel 5.

Even with all the theories there is still so much backing up that it was all real!

My opinion anyway Wink

Iirc, when the Yanks landed on the moon they set up some mirrors of some sort and these are used to measure how far away the moon is from the Earth .

The rest...I dunno. I'm dubious about it. I think they did go tbh, but the fottage and the pictures, it all seems a bit advanced for the 1960's.

Not really considering the political climate at the time, to loose to the russians in the race for the moon wasn't a option.
