cheers everyone ,
i just done a few bits and bobs before the mot , the battery was flat due to the car sitting for long time ,i just jump started it and parked it facing downhill (dont want to be feckinn about with jomp leads in the morning .

the trip comp says there are 4 gallons of fuel in there but i cant take any chances ,so will pop down to the fuel station before the test .and give her a good run for better emissions

had to put the skirts back in the heat ,it was not fun at all .

thats where I took the car to get the wheel bearing changed, it failed 3 days later. Got no comeback though cos a mate provided the bearing, might pop down tomorrow to get the bearing done.

oky dokies , took the car out for a spin in the morning filled the tank and gone up to 60-70mph i had this excessice shaking on the steering wheel . anyway warmed up the car and took it to the test

took him 40minutes to do the test , the result is not too bad i suppose

-nearside front ball joint (he said its totally knackard )
-front brake discs scored
-handbrake low effort (needs adjusting )
-viper blades split (my ass)

all in all ,he quoted me 100quid + vat for the work to be done in that garage,and i got 2 weeks to sort everything out Laughing

what i cant understand is that all these parts ,discs ,ball joint,viper blades cost about 75-80quid inc vat when i check on eurocarparts.com and he is willing to do the job for 100quid +vat all parts included Rolling Eyes
