hi

chaps

bought it in 1996 for 7.5k . 70k miles on it now ,dealer serviced, we use it as a second car .just had the alloys refurbished .standard apart fom a hill power induction kit
small amount of rust appearing bottom edge of the rear doors
going to sort that next

Shocked wow 7.5k ....hard to believe they ever fetched that...let alone 135000 new...when u look at em today, 95% goin for under 1k

top one tho, its good looking.

my dad paid 8.5K for his N plate TD back in 97'. It had a whopping 11,000 miles on it

hello

apart from numerous tyres, 4 batterys and 4 exhausts

orginal engine,gearbox and clutch. cambelt at 50k miles

new altenator 60k miles
new front springs and shocks(spring n.s.f corroded and collapsed) 50k -ish miles
just replaced rear brake calipers( partially seized)

all original body work

12monthly oil and coolant changes

and its never failed an MOT

Proof that the unreliable reputation for 19 16valvers is unjustified when the car is properly and sensibly maintained.
