Just spoken to DVLA and they've told me that my old black ph2 1916v is still in the Preston area, its had a plate change and its not been taxed since 2002, so now im on a mission  i want it back 
Iv phoned the garage where i sold it to and they've told me they no longer have the records, so anybody got any idea's ???? |

Just sent a letter off with a wee cheque for £2.50 to DVLA, now hopefully i'll get a reply back with the present owners details, then just wave some cash at him,
I just hope its not mangled in his garden or used as a spares car

i have filled the same form and sent 2.50 postal order to dvla while tracing the owner of an abandoned car (the white 19 16v hatch) ,they could not provide me any ferkin details and they are a bunch of wankers .they sent me a cheque for 2.5 quid instead

I can handle if its fooked to be honest, and im kinda expecting it to be, im not expecting it to be in great nick at all, i would like it to be a project, just as long as its not been mangled.

Yeah Schakal, im hoping they dont fob me off, the guy on the phone was helpful, but he could only tell me so much, he did say though that id get what i wanted to know if i wrote to them proving who i was and the cheque as aswell, if i dont get any joy i'll just resort to plan B  |

BUGGERS, got the letter back from DVLA today, and they wont tell me what i want to know, which is fair enough, but it was them that told me to write in the 1st place,
never mind, you cant keep a good man down

hmmmm now why do i recognise the plate on the 19, rings bells and i canne remember why i know that plate. |

hate to say i told you
i have spoken to 5-6 people from dvla and all were so helpfull on the phone ,but i exactly had the same letter . now they will send you a cheque for 2.5quid , dont spend all in one go 
nice looking car by the way ,hope you find it |
