rear seats are very easy to remove..no bolts, just clips.

anyway, fun and games the bolts for the runner rusted to fuck as expected so they are stayin in and so is the carpet mainly...nemind.

found a funny wire....its running frt to back drivers side.
spliced into a wire under the dash by the bonnet release and runs to the back and splices into the wire feeding the boot interior light...strange

somethign to do with a previous alarm install? mabye the feed to the boot light broke and someone just spliced this new feed in?

nah it cant be standard its been bodged on with tape...the int light in the boot has red and ornage wire goin to it and then this black one taped onto the orange one...running poorly (ie visibly) up the side to the frt where its bodged onto that one at the frt...at first i thought maybe it had been bodged onto the door switch but no.

so i think either a crappy alarm install eg when boot opened, light comes on activate alarm

or the feed to the light bust and rather than find where it had bust just bodge a new wire on there....

ill pull it off and see what happens.

That really is a beauty Johnboy.

I'd love a Grey Ph1.

Get Uni out of the way and maybe get a job in the City when I'm not doing 500 miles a week and need VAG reliability.....

aftermarket alarm feed? as it was hanging out all under the seats...

i dont know what alarm imob its got....it has a little thing on a fob that i have to touch on a pad to disable imob but whether it has an alarm i dont know..

i got a receipt for a cat 1 alarm imob with it but i suspect it is the one fitted...

ill tuck the wire away neat then and forget about it.

the 2 litre runs same mounting set up as the clios, i.e. is hung rather than supported. Runs rear dog bone.
